On the one hand, maybe he went with the family on a visit for Madden. On the other, I definitely believe the guy was shopping himself midseason, even if the UCLA-Oregon visit was not untoward. The rest of the team played like a team that knew the QB had a foot out the door in Columbus.

I doubt he tanked it but he should have been working to get better. Not status quo. I’m over him because he didn’t impress me at all after looking back at a full season. But that doesn’t mean he can’t be talked about in a way that makes sense.

Haha yeah he didn’t have to try to tank that game but when you run out of bounds on the last play of the game after missing an open rb for the winning td, you can question where a mind is, not including the 8-10 hour travel time. Maybe coincidence he was awful. Maybe not.

Nico has a lot of potential but no motivation to become better. Maybe a change of scenery helps him but Tennessee and Nico weren’t a match that were to do anything.

I think tanking is a stretch, but he definitely was distracted. Can’t change the past I suppose. Hopefully we beat Arkansas handily this year because it’s so annoying losing to them and especially to Sam “Hank Pataki” Pittman.
