I don't know if anybody will ever have enough quality experienced depth at QB to just give up on the massive investment made in highly rated HS QBs on a whim...most coaches will feel like the dude is always about to turn the corner and will give that guy every chance to turn it around.I hope to not suffer under full seasons in the future where the QB just doesn't get it. Perhaps we have enough depth to pull the starter in those situations?
True. Recruiting top rated talent is different than having that top rated talent actually being top talent and panning out. I think that a coach's ability to evaluate talent and pick the right pieces for their program and utilize that talent is way overlooked by most.Bama can/will fall off once that program stops producing top results. DuBose, Franchione, Shula were all quickly average there. Storied program, but you have to have a great HC for them to be at a high level consistently.
Georgia, LSU, Florida, Texas just in talent rich states...not sure if they'll ever truly lose recruiting edge because of that.
If TN can get inside the top 6 of the SEC I think we'll be just as good as anyone.
The big thing at Georgia were the huge rigged calls UGA needed to even stay close enough to have a chance to win in the second half. Heinous.
Can’t find the DPI they wrongly called on McCoy.
They also were up over 30 on Oregon in the first half. Was Oregon talented? And they beat them at home. We had to play them at night at home.
They were head and shoulders better than everyone last year. And UGA is a mental block right now. Bama had a top five roster and we beat them. Had we played anyone other than OSU, we would have been in any game.
Some bruh, who should supposedly know better, just said we weren’t good enough to beat Georgia last year. I thought he and some similar stray goobers needed reminding of some facts."ABSOLUTELY NOTHING CORRUPT GOING ON HERE!!!...It is impossible for it to be SEC corruption...Why? Why would they do it to us?"
VN naysayers.
