What gives you a bad feeling? Can't be his stats, outside of ints last year. Maybe he's too new to assimilate properly?
Mostly BVS

I just see Guarantono when I watch Agular's tape. My only hope is we have Heupel instead of Pruitt. So I'm sure we'll be good enough to be SEC Champions this season.

Joey even looks like Jarrett.
You can see the resemblance, right?

Only thing similar to Guarantano is the hair. Aguilar is built closer to Heath Shuler than he is JG. Plays nothing like JG, imo. Even if he is similar, I think JG would've been at least decent under Heupel, better than Nico.

I hope I'm wrong.....View attachment 764642
To clarify.... I'll start off supporting JA and I really hope he balls out to the point we look like 2022 again. BUT, I can't help it, I've got a bad feeling about him. *FTR, I'm seldomly wrong.

I think it's a reasonable comparison at this point.

The problem with it, and it's a serious problem, is that JG would not have been JG under Heupel.

2019 JG would have been better than Nico on the 2024 Vols. He could hit a deep ball. 2019-2020 Jim Chaney was the worst offensive coordinator we had in the entire decade of misery. The fact he was and maybe still is held in such high esteem irks me.

They gave him a 2 yard spot on 4th down in that game that cost us, we stopped him on that scramble. Didn't Compton come in guns a blazing and throw a long post for a td to meachem that game?

My mistake, I think that was 2007.

My mistake again, it was 2006. Was a fumble that was spotted for a 1st down that we recovered but the refs said we didn't......... Refs.
Yes!! Fulmer sent the tape into the SEC office and FINALLY got a “sorry our bad” letter🤬
