You've had a few more than I have had bud, although we've had a boat since I was about 10 years old. 60s model 16 ft Chaparral fish and ski was the first boat my dad owned, couldn't keep it running so he traded it for a really nice alumacraft........caught alot of fish in that boat. Bought the Javelin in 94 then he died in November of 95, never really got to use it. I was only 19 and couldn't afford it so my mom sold it. Bought my 82 Ranger when I could afford one..........got tired of it and sold it too. Now I've got a 1648m crestliner with a tm and I'm as happy as I've ever been with it.I had an 18ft mastercraft, then a norris craft. Nothing really crazy, but pretty fun.
My favorite boat was a 1982 Silverline/Nantucket cabin cruiser. It was only 22', but was the perfect size for 2 people. We had a '01 SeaRay 340 that was nice, but it cost so much to keep it up and run it, I just couldn't keep it.
1989 Pro Star 190 here. Dad sold it.I had an 18ft mastercraft, then a norris craft. Nothing really crazy, but pretty fun.

The NCAA==The University Presidents (who sold viewer rights to TV execs, who don't want weakened super-conference competition/viewership/post-season appearances).
Sorry about your dad. Tough time to lose him, for sure. You've had a few more than I have had bud, although we've had a boat since I was about 10 years old. 60s model 16 ft Chaparral fish and ski was the first boat my dad owned, couldn't keep it running so he traded it for a really nice alumacraft........caught alot of fish in that boat. Man enki it sounds like we both grew up on the water. I spent so much time on lake Sinclair growing up it was so awesome. Caught so many crappie and catfish, nothing but great memories with my dad..........trying to give my son some memories of his own.Sorry about your dad. Tough time to lose him, for sure.
I have a brother about 10 years older than me. My dad got a small fiberglass boat when I was about 8 or 10. He'd take me and my middle brother fishing. Then my older brother would hijack it and take us skiing on some weekends. That's probably why I like those types of boats now, you can do about whatever you want with them. . .
. . .My dad took us to Stock Creek one morning and we headed out to one of his spots. I couldn't help myself and dropped a line off the back while we were doing about 35. I hooked something and started yelling like I hit the lottery. He cut the engine and thought I'd just hooked a log or something. Turned out to be about a 5lb catfish. Just about the only fish we caught that day,. Hadn't thought about that in years. . .
Anyway, I've got my eye on an old worn out jon boat, probably needs more work than it's worth, but I think it could be good. Something to get out on the water with. It's hard staying on the banks when you grew up on the water.
