My expectations are low given Putin's manipulative ways. Absent an enforceable security guarantee that will outlive Putin I just dont see the Ukrainians ever agreeing to anything. And I have a hard time seeing Putin agree to a real, solid, authentic guarantee.

So a ceasefire that lasts long enough for Putin to whine in a month that Ukraine broke it and go back to hostilities? Possible. Keeps Trump off his back for awhile.

Understood….Russians and the word ”guarantee” never come together. If there is a ceasefire today which leads to a peace treaty in the near future, would that be a success for you?

This appears to be a strawman. You set the conditions which in context will never be expected to be agreed upon by any sane person than claim victory because the insane condition was never agreed upon.

Russia has been pretty clear as to what the goals have been for the operation, although recently they have stepped up the complete destruction of the Ukraine might be necessary.

Let's be honest, you're okay with all the Ukrainians dying.... I get that, but that is the Truth right?

What relevance does Biden have in the matter? Most people who voted for Biden did so because they didn't want Trump. Most people who voted for Trump in the last election did so because they didn't want Harris.

Expectations are low because of Trump and his history of fealty towards Putin

Sorry mr. helper but you don't appear to understand the context of my statement. Like you, tator is insane. He setup a whole scam on the forum and threads to pretend he hadn't been voting, than once one went through his post he lied about the whole thing or I guess forgot he voted. My expectations of anything related to you or tator are rather low. Not because you are not smarter than me, obviously that is the case... but you have disadvantages.
