Now the coach will tell the defense anytime there is a long offensive play or anytime they feel momentum changing or anytime they need a timeout to fall down BUT make sure you do it before ball is spotted and you are all good.

Stupid rule doesn’t fix the problem it just changes when the defense takes the dive.

It definitely doesn’t eliminate the problem, but surely it will get somewhat better right? At least in situations where the refs aren’t slow to get the ball spotted now the defense will get punished for doing that.
