Israel vs Palestinians II

Until Israel actually commits an atrocity, I will let you know (and please don’t give me some Pallywood sob story about how 12000 orphans were bombed while riding in ambulances to get water for puppies).
yes Gazan civilians (including children) do get killed; but not in any greater numbers than in other urban combat situations; especially when Hamas defies the rules of war by intermingling with the civilian population
Atrocities are committed in every single war. Did you not just do the exact thing you accused Nash of doing?

The “Hamas bros” are somehow held to a higher standard than the righteous good guys. Make it make sense

In the parts of Rafah where Hamas is no-longer in control, the anti-Hamas groups in control there are now sending the kids back to school.

And they now have anti-radicalization classes to leave behind the hatred they were taught in UNRWA schools.

That’s great and you’ll continue to see more of it

But I thought everyone there Hamas loving terrorists with no innocents?

Why is that not your response when Israel commits an atrocity? Or when Israel enabled Hamas?
If only we knew when and what that was - ?

Must be classified info, searches don't turn it up. Rather, any references to it are talking about supporting Yassin's charity org until he radicalized and reformed the network as Hamas. I could see where a fella would get the timeline mixed up, but not when the error is pointed out.

It'd be almost like he read something and repeated it without examination.

You Zionist… Aren’t you concerned if these innocent kids have eaten today?

But the question then turns to.....
Do these kids deserve to live or do you believe they should die? Should they pay for their parents radicalizing them?

Start with intentional acts of murder and crimes against humanity. Can you condemn that?
Sure, if you can start with naming specific examples, whose making the claim and whose verifying it as fact. That was the point of the statement you replied to.

I believe kids should live.
What do you believe?

All the information in the world at your fingertips and you decide to be ignorant. I’ve already said I’m not having this conversation with you bcuz it was clear from the start you’re not interested in having an honest discussion about it. You act like you’re so knowledgeable you would think you’d at least do some research or have some actual knowledge about the situation. But since you wanna be a ****tard I’ll leave you with this
“Hamas to my great regret is Israel’s creation.”

I’m sure you know more than all the Israeli officials that have openly discussed it

Look, I support Israel and understand their reasoning for the military operation. I also at the same time hate what is happening to Palestinians.

There have been dozens of examples, many refuted but enough remain at the very least possible..... And based on what I know about war I'm not naive enough to believe bad actors, possible even bad leaders/commanders are directly responsible for preventable deaths or even murder.

I think it's safe to say I can condemn any such acts without playing games to avoid placing any blame on Israel.

To the contrary; you've been an insulting dk twice now without provocation, in this and the prior thread.

This time you respond with incoherence about Yassin being not being peaceful and suicide child bombings, which is not within the timeline of Hamas' creation or his charity network when Israel used them to counterweight Fatah/PLO.

Now, it's about the creation of Hamas. Okay, but you could have led with that, and I don't think a single quote by a former Israeli religious affairs official makes your point.

My summary would be that Israel's thinking was sound to keep enemies divided/balance of power and keep them close. Used by every nation ever and will be forever. To state unequivocally that there'd have been no Hamas or like group but for Israel's attempt to dilute Fatah/PLO influence, is pure speculation regardless of whether or not an Israeli official is saying it.

But let's say Israel unquestioningly created Hamas and there'd have been no similar group. Can we now unquestioningly assert that a consolidated and more influential Fatah/PLO controlling Gaza and the WBank would have been better? Or even worse?

We really can't say. And that's the silliness of attempting it and drawing some conclusion as to Israel's culpability re: Hamas.

You said yassin was “mostly peaceful” in a comment that had nothing to do with him. Sorry you hold a man who advocated for the suicide bombings of Israelis in higher regards than I do

I don't know that anyone celebrates civilian casualties regardless of their culpability.

Israel is not above valid criticism for avoidable casualties, but it's rather like the sweltering hate for Trump; they justify any smear, any abrogation of his rights because...well, Hitler...or something. Most criticisms of Israel are a direct result of them 1.) being Jews and 2.) setting such a high standard of warfare conduct for themselves that are historically singular, but mostly 3.) a propagandized history of the region that afflicts perhaps 95% of the people who authoritatively talk about it. It is literally more a propaganda war for longterm survival than an armed conflict.

Feed and supply the populace who elected the government who has repeatedly waged attacks, knowing you're directly sustaining that enemy military? Taking extraordinary measures to warn and avoid civilians whom that enemy government shields themselves with? Who does that and with such a tiny population in a tiny country surrounded by enemy?

I can find some criticisms with the question of settlements for example, but these are lands captured from enemy combatants and held strategically by Israel now. Again, Israel has set a higher bar for themselves than history or right to defense demands - don't gamble land you can't afford to lose.
I can't find criticism for this campaign.
