Anyone else notice how terrible carbonated drinks after you've stopped drinking them for a while? They're hard to drink and taste like pure sugar.

This dude at work drinks a 6-pack or more of the 24oz Mt Dews a day. It has to be destroying his insides.
They’re much worse for you than literal booze. It’s kinda crazy

Yeah for sure. But probably not by Joey Halzle personally. Which is what he will say if the passing game flounders for a third consecutive year.

Which BTW is not some personal attack on Halzle. You can hire your brother or your barber to be OC when you are putting up points. If things don't work out for the third consecutive year, mini-me needs to go so we can get some fresh ideas in here.
Please, oh please, don't make me suffer through another poor season for the passing game.

I gave up drinking sodas over 30 years ago and have not missed them at all. My father lived on them - until he didn't with kidney cancer.

This year's receivers are last year's db's. All the hand wringing will prove to be a complete waste of time.
That potential is there at WR. Unproven goes both ways, Not any past to project with for most of them. Impossible to project learning curves for game action. If they arrived with discipline route ability lots of good things CAN happen. Gotta believe they know they were part of the YOUNG challenge by coach. I choose to believe that the lack of frantic portal search there means something too.

I enjoy about a half a can every once in a while now, but you're right, they're just so sweet. I wish coke would release a half-sweet version. Not fake sugar, just the same thing but half the sugar.

They should. It's either all or nothing with them. How has it never crossed their mind to create something in the middle of full bore liquid death and zero-sugar? Could call it "Half-Bad Coke" . . . slogan could be "Half Bad, 100% Good" or "Half Bad, All Good"

God I love practice report season

The quarterback rotation flipped back to Joey Aguilar first and Jake Merklinger (second) today, with freshman George MacIntyre repping third.
-Eric Cain

quarterback order remained Jake Merklinger, Joey Aguilar and George MacIntyre.
-Patrick Brown

I'm glad someone said it. The coaching staff is obviously not concerned with the wr room or they would have been more active in the portal.

I'm sticking to my one 22oz bottle of Diet Mt dew per day...gets me through the second half of the work day.

If you drank a 6 pack of 24oz booze every day, it would not be better for you than the same amount of soda lol.
Yeah go ahead and ingest all the complete nonsense ingredients in a soda vs the 4-5 ingredients in beer. Let me know how it shakes out for ya

300+ calories, 70+ grams of sugar per bottle of 24oz soda let alone the artificial ingredients

How the hell are these fragile cream puffs getting hurt right now when they are doing nothing but drills?...this puny 💩 gets on my freaking nerves.

And yes...I know sometimes freak things happen where guys tear their pecs, or achilles etc etc etc in freak accidents...but come on man 🤦‍♂️
I think the problem with Sparks is that he was likely selected and trained by the LSU alum whatshisname the editor who is his boss. Why do bama, UGA, Florida, and LSU have their alums as sports editors but we don’t? I know these are all chains run by cost-cutters at giant corporations now, like cheap chain ops all over: But still. Sometimes Sparks does a good job, iirc.

This stoking panic sucks.

It depends on how much alcohol you are drinking. As a nurse, my wife works with so many patients that have destroyed themselves with alcohol. Calls it a poisen. Thus, I pretty much cut out most alcohol. Plus, I get to lose dat beer belly.

I guess he means 24 shots of alcohol a day wouldn’t exactly optimize health.

Even 24 16-oz bottles of water might run the risk of flushing your needful sodium. Doc will be along to tell us.
