Ian Chandler of Dallas Oregon owns a 100 acre+ cherry orchard. He will loose at least 1/4 of his crop this year due to labor shortage. Neighboring orchard owners are in the same boat.

Seems the guest worker needs should have been addressed prior to mass deportation of non violent immigrants.

Mr. Chandler will loose over $250,000 this year but there will be some fat happy raccoons.

Been drinking JFG coffee since I was 20. Food city weekly sale has it for$8.99 about $2.00more than last year, guess tRump doesn't consider coffee as groceries.

Maybe he needs to pay better then looking for low wage slave labor..idk. Just a thought

Endorsing slave labor and illegal activity isn't going to solve it, there is going to be a labor shortage regardless anyway. Nobody is coming to save anyone. The days of free stuff is coming to an end.

That ignorance is shared by most Republicans. It was liberals who supported Ceasars Chavez in lifting ag wages for fruit pickers. Most growers are Republicans.
Harvesters aren't paid by the hour, but rather by production, that's why you see them moving so fast. Many make $150 +/day. Same jobs are open to anyone,no matter thier race. You or any of your friends or family can apply. Pays much better than burger King .

If Ribeyes come down in price Ill give Trump some credit. But I doubt that will happen. He's too busy wasting money on f$^king ballrooms and turning the White House into a 1980's GI Joe diorama.

I retired years ago, have had very few immigrant workers, which were paid the same.
You’re just grasping straws in order to attack me. And I am not responsible for or can fix anything.
