Same VQ who stated Dobbs was horrible and wouldn’t play. Then plays and is a stud.
Hype up players all offseason who never play? Same ones who said JG was going to be good and we just couldn’t play any other QBs?

Like I said, they are a mouth piece for our coaches and put out info that the coaches want them too. In return they get more recruiting and inside info. They do put out some good info too and get roster updates and recruiting news from our coaches. But if you don’t think they aren’t pushing coaching narratives and some false news then you are incorrect. How many times did we hear it was a QB competition when Milton got here? It wasn’t. But they don’t want that news out there so the coaches feed that to them and they release it to VQ.

I take pretty much all media commentary in preseason, and really on team performance in general, with a grade of slaw. Not sure why so many put stock in their “practice reports”

I do however pay attention to their recruiting info.

Ainge is the only one of those who actually played QB. i will take his word over some of these others who have seen them.

I am sympathetic to this view but also remember him pumping sunshine on JG up until the day he left.

Heupel is a QB whisperer. Milton and Nico were just hard of hearing.

He managed them both well. Under other circumstances, neither would likely have been nearly as efficient.

Over the years i remember the VQ crew pumping sunshine on dozens of players in camp that never made any type of impact
