Just because you make millions of dollars does not entitle you to berate other people and bully them around. Bryce’s parents clearly didn’t teach him any level of sportsmanship or professionalism, otherwise he wouldn’t act the way he does. If that were my son I would be embarrassed. I wouldn’t care how much money he is bringing in, you don’t act like that, especially in public with all those cameras on you. He would’ve been getting some ass whoopings growing up acting like that.

VP, I think the world of you, but let’s keep our kids out of the digs.
I don’t want either one of us to cross a line.
Not crossing a line, stating facts. You and I both know if your children acted the way Bryce acts on the field you would pull their butts off the field and wouldn’t stand for that behavior.

Thanks, mom. 👍

At 12, yes. Not if he’s a grown ass man playing Major League Baseball!
My son knows the difference in acting like a tool and being a good kid. I have zero problem with him watching Harpers mechanics or how he plays the game and mimicking that.
End of discussion, next topic.

Good on your mom for having a backbone. Too many parents want to let their kids do whatever the hell they want without any consequences. It’s sad to see.
I can’t imagine trying to raise kids in today’s era. Having to break their attention from the phone only to have it immediately return to the screen?

No reason to get your panties in a wad because your son’s favorite player acts like a jackass on the field. It’s not your son’s fault. It’s Bryce Harper’s fault. I never said anything directly about your son. I prefaced with “if” but by all means get bent out of shape for no reason 😂

Mine was a different time in growing up. Most parents of today encourage their kids to fight w/others & learn not to take chit from anyone. I was embarrassed when mother did that to wake me up. Funny, looking back on it, the LL coach didn't say or do nothing when I was having a mad fit on display for everyone to see.

The dugout is for crossing lines
No it’s not. I’m not sure about you guys but NO ONE is going to take shots a my young kids.
So yeah, I am a little pissed right now tbh.
If someone standing in front of me basically called my son a douchebag, one of us is taking an ass whoopin!
I’ll check back in later.

I understand.

Good try. 🤣 I know who represents the anathema of douchbagery around here. 🏆
And yet my son opens the door for random people everywhere we go, hugs people he sees crying, helps pick up stuff people have dropped on the floor, helps his classmates with their math, helps the teacher cleanup the classroom. He hasn’t been polluted with the real world assholes yet thankfully but at least I’m doing something right so far.
