Cool. Speaking of wasting time, wIll never happen, no matter how much support you get for it. You know what might happen if we can stir up enough support? We might cut off military aid to Israel.

Just my opinion/gut feeling. They see the writing on the wall. Hamas position is untenable and they aren't able to effectively lead or represent their people. In fact by all appearances they have shed all pretense and are openly targeting Palestinians for their purposes of self preservation.

Excellent.
Looks like part of the decision is to keep America out of Gaza. If they can build a coalition and keep it, and if/when Israel steps out of line, they may have the manpower necessary to throw the Israelis out. Which would give them a completely new position at the negotiating table.

It’ll be interesting to see how it all unfolds. Bibi doesn’t want a 2 state and he has rejected the PA governing Gaza. But I think the Arab states are trying to align more and build better relations with Israel

We also want nothing to do with Gaza. In my opinion we floated the idea of developing Gaza to encourage neighbors to act.
