Thanks for all the insults (above) shot at me. Not a good way to make friends here just bc I lean to the right. I don't know where all this hate comes from some posters on here just bc I posted a tweet. Like I said if they bother you just scroll on by them. No need for harsh insults to someone you don't even know.

Trump is FOS and likes to have his ego fed constantly BUT he’s still better than an entire presidency that was built off lies to cover up the mental acuity issues of Biden. Kamala was also a drunken train wreck that no one had time for. No one was believing that narrative.

Bottom line is likely Trump won bc of the dems incompetence in choosing the right candidate. Really need future elections to have two strong candidates.

Biden has always been a POS. He had no business anywhere near the WH. Just a embelicic move by the Dems. It's low freaking bad to defend as a whataboutism. That has absolutely nothing to do with Trump. Yes, he has no business being anywhere near the WH either. He was elected mostly by those choosing him as the lesser of two evils. The increase is due to poor cocoa crops in Africa, this was on the news a few months ago. That guys agenda is exactly why I do not conversate with some on here, though they can be mildly entertaining at times.

His comments came a day after Japan’s top tariff negotiator, Ryosei Akazawa, told reporters in Washington that the new trade deal "does not include anything related to defense spending." Media reports quoting sources close to the talks also said that security issues had not been part of the trade discussions.

It was not immediately clear if Trump was referring to pending arms deals with Tokyo. The U.S. has over $20 billion in active government-to-government sales cases with Japan under its Foreign Military Sales system as of January, U.S. State Department data shows. These purchases include advanced F-35 stealth fighters and Tomahawk cruise missiles.

I’m more amazed by the people do who don’t believe it will cause inflation. I can see some small + outcomes (the bad outweighs the good).

But I can’t comprehend any argument that tariffs will not cause inflation.

I see people in here bemoaning the tariffs that have previously expressed support of a national sales tax or consumption tax. What's the difference? Tariffs are a tax we will all pay but it's one we can choose not to pay. I say kill the income and other federal taxes and fund the federal government through tariffs and fees like the founders intended.
