Trump and his minions in Congress and right-wing media (Fox News) are desperately trying to flood the news cycle in order to deflect the public's focus away from the Epstein files. The Trump Administration was not expecting the anger from MAGA to be so intense and linger for more than a week.

Anyone that participated should spend the rest of their life in prison. Clinton,Trump or anyone else is assumed innocent until proven guilty. You seem to forget that part.

I didn't vote for Obama in 2012. Republicans were never going to come out in numbers for a Mormon, and they should have let Romney take the loss in 2008 instead of McCain, and had McCain run in 2012.

The supreme Court majority that made that ruling is a direct result of Republican Presidents though, particularly Trump.

A cool $16m to "settle" a case that they could have easily won. Now Trump's FCC is going to approve the Skydance/Paramount merger. They're going to have a $28B valuation and $16M is chump change.

Swamp mode intensifying. This is the only time Trump is ever really playing 4D chess.

Canning Colbert is the smart $ move regardless, but a great move to help secure the merger.

Pam Bondi has been saying that for 5 months. There shouldn't be anything left to review after all of this time, especially since Bondi herself, declared the Epstein files and a possible client list to be high priorities for her, under the President's directive.

There is also the matter of the DOJ memo from two weeks ago, which clearly sought to bring an end to the public's interest in the Epstein files, and the alleged existence of a client list.

The Trump Administration is sensing that this story isn't going to quickly go away on it's own. They need at least some red meat from the Epstein investigation, in order to appease the Trump base.
