I’ll out myself, I was a full on backer because of Fulmer and the sh*t show we went through. I knew after year 2 and dreaded the third year because of our Covid schedule. Pile on because I deserve it, I just and still do root for our team regardless what year it is.I can't believe anyone could interview that clown and decide it's a good idea to give him the keys to a billion $ top level D1 football team.
I’ve never seen such pessimism on this site. We just beat out TX and Bama and because the kid isn’t the second coming of football Jesus, some of you all are ready to kick Heupel to the curb. Some of you must live a pretty miserable life considering how negative you are.
So sorry you all had to endure. So happy he is doing this well now.Unfortunately I’ve learned a lot about these the last year. My middle son at 21 was diagnosed with a brain tumor last May. Misdiagnosed by Vandy with Astrocytoma stage 4 and given less than 5 years to live, right in front of him in the room. They were wrong. Further dna testing showed a tumor studied in less than 60 patients worldwide, but is out there being misdiagnosed. We spent the summer at St Jude for proton radiation after surgery. 13 months out now and clear scans. This new Patz1 tumor has a much better prognosis and good chance we don’t see it again from limited data.
Is there a thread with these types of discussions? I learned so much and dove into studies, 133 different tumors, etc and I had a son basically given a death sentence as well as spending time at St Jude. I may be able to help someone in some way.
Last May/This May. Miracle.
would rather get a safety in portholebolding JB shabazz for ya but yeah this would be juicy
my only thoughts are we usually identify 1-2 players once season starts who are relative nobody's right now and pursue them and they end up 90.00 4* and committed, has happened i believe every year under CJH
It seems, and I understand it if people are younger, and don't/can't remember things, i get it; but, it seems people only remember post-neck Manning...the one that only went on to win another MVP and went to 2 SBs. Seems there's this narrative out there, that Manning had no "talent" or "athleticism". The OP isnt the first i've seen it.bad bad take
he ran a 4.8 40. he just had excellent footwork, in fact the best. im not even honoring this discussion. It seems, and I understand it if people are younger, and don't/can't remember things, i get it; but, it seems people only remember post-neck Manning...the one that only went on to win another MVP and went to 2 SBs. It's just not true.
Before Manning hurt his neck...while no, he wasn't Lamar Jackson, he could move around in the pocket, out of the pocket, buy time, and throw. And, whenever the aforementioned throwing of the football, he had as much "talent" as ANYONE to ever do it. And, before he hurt his neck, his arm was as strong as anyone's. Not only could he throw a 60 yard dime, his placement is unmatched.
It also truly seems, that people have most definitely forgotten Manning at Tennessee. And, this is not at you, Jack, none of this...but, go back and just watch his games against Georgia, and try and tell me he had no talent or athleticism.
Manning's arm talent alone, both as a gun and a marksman, puts him above all our other greats, he truly is once-in-a-lifetime...thats before you add in everything else. Imo, he is the GOAT; however, on everyone else's list, if he's not #1, he's 2 or 3. And people are trying to say he didn't have much talent?? ALL brains? I guess I'll just have to disagree.
I believe Peyton was so gameday prepared for every situation,he never really had to show his athletic side by running and moving around a lot. Individuals saying Peyton wasn't athletic is like individuals saying Dan Marino didn't have one of the top 2 quickest releases in football history..It seems, and I understand it if people are younger, and don't/can't remember things, i get it; but, it seems people only remember post-neck Manning...the one that only went on to win another MVP and went to 2 SBs.
