Vols in MLB Update

When is Burke projected to make the bigs? He seems to be doing well.
I know you are asking about Burke but it is worth bringing up CMo in this response:

The Angels are known for pulling up top prospects very quickly. That makes them a young and exciting team, but obviously comes with the risk of ruining good talent by putting them against the best of the best too early. Most folks guessed CMo would be in the big leagues this year because the Angel's talent development philosophy and his overall skill dictated that move.

Burke, who was very good in college, may not see the big leagues for some time because the Brewers are the opposite of the Angels in most ways. They invest a lot of time and effort into their player development through the Minors, including their international prospects. Being a small market team, they have to be a bit more strategic than the Angels. Thus, I doubt we see Burke make it to the bigs for a few years. He is on a High A team right now, and the Brewers would want to see him at least in AA for a while, then a short stint in AAA if he looks to be adjusting and ready for big league arms. I think it is likely we see him promoted to the Shuckers soon.

That was probably more than you really wanted to hear, but I thought with both Moore and Burke hitting big homers yesterday it would be interesting to compare them in their careers.

Crochet struck him out twice iirc. Pitched a great 7 innings. Your guys just needed another Crochet in relief. Proud of both of our VFLs.
CMo ended up spoiling what was a very good outing for Crochet. 7IP with 10Ks and 0 ERs is about is good as you can ask for from a starter. But you know how it goes, teams are only as good as their bullpen allows!

Crochet seems to be hitting another gear this year. 2.06 ERA and currently the strikeout leader by 10 Ks. He is elite.

CMo gave Crochet some props in the post game interview. Great to have VFLs doing so well.

Dollander is on the mound tonight v. The Dodgers. Beck has been killing it since moving down in the order.
Eats me up inside that Dollander is stuck in Colorado; he's a far better pitcher than that organization and Coors Field have made him look
