The USS Saratoga had been undergoing maintenance in a drydock at Bremerton immediately prior to December 7.
Sorry to inject facts into this.
No, the USS Saratoga (CV-3) was not hit during the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. While the Saratoga was near Hawaii at the time, she was actually entering San Diego after a dry docking in Bremerton. She was subsequently ordered to reinforce Wake Island but was delayed and eventually returned to Pearl Harbor for repairs after being torpedoed by a Japanese submarine on January 11, 1942.
^this exactly. Iran doesn’t have to be a model world citizen. Just give up killing Jews and killing Americans and killing Sunnis and they could sell their oil and provide a decent economy for their citizens and fabulous wealth for their leaders. But, they insist on prosecuting grudges that are decades or even centuries old.Or they could just be like Qatar, UAE, Jordan, Switzerland, New Zealand, or 97% of the world's nations and just stop causing problems. Iran is one of a few nations that starts crap. If they behaved like a Qatar or Switzerland, they would be fine. Heck, even acting like Turkey would work. You don't see USA, Israel, or anyone having beef with those nations.

Arguably the firebombing campaign against Tokyo wreaked more damage and resulted in larger loss of life than the two nuclear attacks. (Edit to clarify, singular raids. I can see combined casualties of both nuclear raids being higher but not sure)
No, though he is unhappy that his brags are starting to unravel and he may have to eat some serious crow.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested 11 Iranian nationals across the U.S. this weekend on immigration violations, including one in St. Paul, Minn., who officials said has ties to Hezbollah and another they said was a former sniper in the Iranian Army who had been living in a small town in northern Alabama.....
The sweep also netted a man in Mississippi who ICE officials said had been named a “known or suspected terrorist” in February; a man accused of domestic abuse who was carrying a loaded 9mm pistol when agents found him in Houston; and two men in Colorado Springs, Colo., one of whom officials said was convicted of drug crimes and child abuse and had been living in the country illegally since the 1980s.

The market was not up "crazy" todaydo you really think he gives a crap?!? Trump supporters still are going to love him, liberals including the media aren’t going to give him credit for anything ever. Stock market was up crazy today so there seems to be optimism on Wall Street.
Nothing Trump is doing is close to the level of the ineptitude of the previous administration.
And this is part of the reason why.
Why would purposely not being prepared offer a better reason to enter the war? We were still attacked regardless.
