Trump claims there is a deal but it appears there may not be. Now, there are many benign explanations besides Trump simply getting out over his skis on this. It could be that the exact terms have to be ironed out before all attacks stop. Could be someone reneged. Could be a miscommunication.

But, for sure, if Biden had said there's a peace agreed to and ot can be permanent, but missiles still flew, the board would be apoplectic with criticism of him.

the way the deal was announced was that both sides had some planned missions to complete (missiles flying) but that would be the end.

Iran made some confirmation of the deal.

I've watched a lot of cable news since this conflict with Iran began. I know some people are going to flame me but I really like Cornel West. I don't agree with much of what he says but I find him intellectually honest, knowledgeable and open. I enjoy his perspectives even the ones I disagree with.
