Lordy Lou. 🤣 My parents went out and bought us a 1959 Edsel. It looked like this one.

How was it received among your neighbors and peers back then? There certainly was a lot of middle class upward prestige in its positioning among the Ford line.

Nevertheless, it's still amazing that--in that age of cars taking their design cues from jet aircraft and rockets--someone around the table didn't question the horse collar grille.

At that time, I think we were 1 of 2 who had an Edsel back then. I was so embarrassed.
My dad brought home a 1955 Oldsmobile that was red in color & we all loved it. So cool.

Tyrese Haliburton ruled out in Game 7 for the Pacers now. Looked to be a classic Achilles tear. Man do these guys not stretch anymore? It seems like there have been quite a few of those injuries.

He's playing on an injured calf, so there was already a risk that this could happen. I hate it for him, though 😭

For some reason I didn’t realize he was playing on an injured calf. That’s always the precursor injury. Hopefully this season is a lesson for future players. Don’t come back from a calf injury until you feel 100%. It’s not worth the risk.

Until there is accountability nothing will change. At this point, I am ok if accountability comes in the form of a officials van being flipped over and pushed into a ditch after a bad game. That is terrible of me to say, but I have no confidence in the SEC or NCAA to ever fix it.

I asked about a bathroom being on the B-2 bomber a couple of days ago & someone
answered that question which was very helpful. Here's a tweet confirming those answers. Good Grief, just to fly one of these baby's you'd have to be smarter than Einstein to know & remember what all these gadgets do & what controls each one does..
You push the wrong button & it might be just the wrong one & self destruct.
