Pick who starts All-Star game pitching for American League.

Max Fried 9-2 with a 1.89 ERA and .95 whip

Tarik Skubal 8-2 2.06 ERA with a .85 whip.

Unless managers shift rotations around it might end up Skubal without a decision. He is slated to start the Friday prior to the ASG while Fried is slated to start Saturday prior. I personally think Fried would be the biggest storyline since the ASG is in ATL but that’s just my opinion

It think the "Pushing P" song was about that. The plausible deniability was "positivity." My guess.

Remember that time Barnes said in the locker room after a big win that he was he was "Pushing P, baby!" Good times.

Anyway, I remember that someone made a meme of that photo of Luc Lipcius with the words: "Vols. Pushing buttons." Reference to every team being jelly and acting like fun was illegal. I think Luc touching home plate in that fashion happened in the game at Vandy. I also seem to remember someone later making the same meme with Luc, but with the words: "Pushing P." But the latter might have been in basketball season the following winter after Barnes took down the house.

I love the Vols year round.

I’ve been looking for this.
Luc was my guy and it was a straight smart @$$ move, but it’s one of my favorite Tennessee baseball plays of all time!!

Mine, too. But of course you're choosing from among a MUCH larger pool of plays.

I checked the facts and Luc circled and then touched home the week after Vandy, playing at home against Mizzou. At Vandy was when Luc bat checked his own bat after he homered because asshat Corbin. The week before that, attention-ho Lane Kiffin interjected himself into the game by throwing out the first pitch of the SEC season when we opened at Old Piss. And we stomped them into the dirt!

Now those were my first three Vols baseball games! Can you even imagine?! Rarely missed a game since.
