Recruiting Football Talk VIII

He just can't pass the ball down the field, so their ceiling is probably 6-6 again.

They return almost their entire team, but there are a lot of automatic losses.

Kentucky is their most winnable SEC game.
You go around firing off like that, and people will head hunt.

Forreal. Now Pavia going down to tuscaloser and winning would be peak comedy.

However....I'm afraid that's when they'll be brought back down to earth. They'll probably be a broken team by the time we get them unfortunately.

He also said that another SEC school offered him $4-4.5M to transfer.

Also "people only visit Nashville" the Smokies are the most visited National Park in the country for like... several DECADES consecutively.... but sure.
If another school offered him 4million to transfer and he stayed at Vandy, then he really is an idiot

Pro production is a more accurate measure of his talent than college production which is more varied due to difference in talent between college teams. Basically a guy can look great in college but not really be that great.

I think Tristen Keys is good. But he's not worth getting into a bidding war over. Use the money he's seeking to sign 3-4 other quality players.

So you’d rather have Josh Allen at Tennessee than Heath Shuler?

Shuler was the Heisman runner up and SEC POY. An all-time Tennessee legend. But he was an awful pro.

Josh Allen is one of the 2-3 best QBs in the NFL right now. In college, he was a 56% passer and interception prone.

Give me Shuler. I’m much more concerned about what they do at Tennessee than in the pros.

Shuler was one of the best ATHLETES to ever wear orange.

Tim Tebow or Tom Brady?

No since in arguing with him
