There are extreme cases where the Marines should be deployed on American soil, and that point has been addressed numerous times now. However, it should only be done when the Insurrection Act has been invoked, and it has not been.

You are also ignoring that. You are thick.

Here's a pertinent example. Nowhere does it claim that it has to be "invoked". It's not a game of Simon Says. It's merely a part of Article 10, that describes his powers to do so.

It's up to the President's discretion/consideration, and doesn't require him to speak some magic formula to enact it.
