I worked at Sears Repair Center thru college..they repaired evvvverything, tvs, vacuums, mowers, and had like 30 vans. My veteran uncle worked there as well and were good paying blue collar jobs.Yet there are TV repairpersons everywhere, that look out of business.
The warranty at BB covers nothing but dollars away from your future TV purchase
I remember that. If we had something break under warranty, we'd take it back and they'd repair it there. I guess they don't do that anymore?I worked at Sears Repair Center thru college..they repaired evvvverything, tvs, vacuums, mowers, and had like 30 vans. trust me, my wife's brother is an engineer, and her dad a fix it of everything. I am not handy.I worked at Sears Repair Center thru college..they repaired evvvverything, tvs, vacuums, mowers, and had like 30 vans. My veteran uncle worked there as well and were good paying blue collar jobs.
This baseball season has been strange and some of our fans even stranger. To read some posts on here one would think our season was complete trash. Yet when comparing our season after winning a NC to other recent teams, you will see we had a great season. Guess some people need to complain about something.
People need to enjoy this baseball ride. Because once revenue sharing fully kicks in, it likely won’t be anywhere near what it is now.
If I buy anymore, I'm gonna buy restored antique stuff from the 50's. Those guys were building Jetson type of stuff that was good quality back then. May be a few hundred $ more, but I'll probably never have to buy again, trust me, my wife's brother is an engineer, and her dad a fix it of everything. I am not handy.
Growing up, we bought Kenmore and Craftsmen, also Sharp electronics. Sears had THE best warranty and local service centers.
**** man, if anyone doesnt believe in purposeful obsolescence look at a Kenmoore appliance that STILL works. My garage door opener is 1994 model. Works great.
Mom's oven, works. Dishwasher, works.
Dishwashers, cant last 3 years. Washers ans dryers, much like politics, which sucks less.
Enjoy physical labor and working with my hands. Have completely redone my yard, which has many leather bound books.
Have taught myself much along the way. Definitely respect those who are handy.
funny i'm a huge mid mod fan. the more sunken in the floor the better. antique orange, red, and greenIf I buy anymore, I'm gonna buy restored antique stuff from the 50's. The digital panels seem to fail a lot these days. . .

I had my first washer hand me down and it was like 20 years old and even worked when I got a new one years later.,It needed balancing cause it moved..lolIf I buy anymore, I'm gonna buy restored antique stuff from the 50's. I like that off-white/cream & chrome combo they used back then. Have you ever really looked at some of those old fridges? They've got a better design and features than most of the stuff today.funny i'm a huge mid mod fan. the more sunken in the floor the better. antique orange, red, and green. Shag carpet

When I was a kid, my mom had and old washer with a roller/ringer thing on top. Looked like 2 rolling pins stuck together. I guess it was electric wash, but maybe not. I'll have to ask her next time we talk.who needs digital on their appliances?
