Here’s the crypt that tripping Peter Fonda’s character had climbed and was sitting in at the end of the movie “Easy Rider.” Our guide said Fonda broke the hand off the statue and the family was pissed. No one knew who had been up there until the movie came out. The cemeteries weren’t gated back then.

My dad was a health nut.. we ate healthy as you possibly could. No junk food unless I stayed with my grandma on the weekend. No joking...
Same. My dad had 100 recipes for Egg Plant. Once he gave us money to buy a pickle at the convenience store. I bought a hot dog. Boy was he angry. 😅

"The cemetaries weren't gated back then" ... my son went to JRR Tolkien's grave in the UK ... except, was "after hours" and small cemetary was all gated off and closed for the day. But, he said, I am a Tennesseean, and didn't come this far to be turned away. So, found a tree with limb over fence, climbed up, dropped in. Not sure what kind of tribute he left, or how got back out, but, he did. 😁🤷
