This is true, another possibility is that implicating him with evidence would lead everyone else - others who have major pull. Not everyone who visited Epstein's properties diddled kids. But it sure as F looks like you did if your name is on a visiting list.

Just spitballing but he led a team of tech savvy, private sector folks and gained access to all sorts of stuff.

Not beyond the scope of reality that backdoors could have been created.

They reportedly gave him all kinds of security clearance, which plenty of us called out as another questionable move by the dumbest admin ever.

Clearance is based on need to know. If he sought out information he did not "need to know" he is in trouble.
