Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Aww...what a cutie!..🥰

We've got two more grandkids coming in middle of November...one is finally a girl and one is a boy.

So that will make four grands, 3 boys and 1 girlie total...how much do you think that lil peanut girl will get spoilt by us?...lol.

One of the boys is my step-grandchild...but we really love that kid and spoil him rotten too, he thinks we are awesome and loves to come stay with us.
That's wonderful! Congrats to you!!

Our family is the opposite. Our son is the only boy for both grand parents. Now 6 granddaughters on my in-laws side.

I had an Arkansas fan holler me at the Coliseum. We laughed together about the SEC's tournament performances so far and wished each other luck. He said he was ready to get back home for a biscuit and I said I was ready to get back home and watch the VOLS play.

I never realized how massive that thing was for the time.

We spend very little time in tge town of Jackson, we usually just drive down there once to go to Albertsons to get groceries for the week, and maybe one night to eat at the steakhouse we love, but when I say Jackson "Hole" I mean the "valley"...which is what "hole" really means.

We are staying in a 120 year old cabin at Colter Bay village, which is on Jackson Lake inside Grand Teton National Park...it's about 40ish miles north of Jackson and gives us close access (18 miles) to the south entrance to Yellowstone..

I'm so excited to go back I can't stand it...the last time we went was in Sept 2017 and my middle daughter and SiL couldn't make it, but this time the whole family will be together on trip for the first time since 2012 when my Boy went off to college.
Can’t wait to see pictures. Have a great time.

Near Moran*

Epcot is the hottest (no shade) and meant for drinking. Doubt your pregnant wife wants to melt and not enjoy the best thing to do (drink). Ha
lots of disney falls in that category. such as when you hit that wall. after three days, it's like a falling down moment.

Beauty and the Beast live musical was my drinking moment.

There’s no place for that word. It’s legit a joke he’s not suspended for being caught saying that ********. I don’t give a damn what your beliefs are. I want there to be tons of **** talk, but there’s a few words you just do not use in todays society. It’s not soft to think that. It’s soft to be stubborn and refuse to acknowledge why that word is not acceptable . I don’t care if he’s using it in a way that isn’t alluding to why it’s a bad word or not. Find another word for your insult. If a word has a history of prejudice and hatred behind it, drop it. It really is that simple.
Then you don’t believe in true freedom of speech. Because true freedom of speech should include homophobic, racial and any other kind of slur.

Ok Wes.

Were they making plans for their next Disney outing, while still in the park?

It was the 2nd day of 26,000 steps, baby in stroller, post fireworks - the crowd exiting - when I had to get mad and say 'if you dont get out of my way, i'll move you.' Crowd oblivious to parent with stroller, moving toward the rides.

It was at that point that I was done. And there was a whoooolle nother day.

My sister in law planned the routes acc to best ride times, fast pass, and all that crap. So, slow strolls, enjoying the time, side games were all lost on ping ponging from station to station.

Never ever again. Dollywood for me:
As a Floridian, strollers for babies at Disney, especially at night, are a hard no. Strap them on your body, hold them, or go back to the hotel.

I pay for the premier pass to walk on everything. I told my wife that if she wants me liking Disney, we can’t be there for twelve hours at a park. Now we go from about 9-2 and knock out all the big rides. Then head back to swim. We all love it and actually enjoy a vacation now. But if I am at the park late, I’m in a mood. Ha
Exact opposite...I love being there and try to get every last second of my money's worth out of it....I can swim and sit at the house at home.

I'm too poor for Premier passes and wasting half a day.

I know you don't mess with TikTok and the other social media spots much, there is one guy that does lowlights for Angel after every game and he's coined what I think is the best phrase of all time, "mebounds" since somewhere north of 50% of Angel's rebounds are coming off her own missed shots.
Lol...Statstuffer...I subscribe to him weeks ago on YouTube...

BANG!!!

I'd say Animal Kingdom
So when I lived in Tampa, I preferred going to the Universal Parks and Univrsal Studios (other than Epcot). The Magic Kingdom held no allure for me. I saw it as for the youngins (up to 12). Oh, then Roller Coasters and Bush Gardens in Tampa? Awesome.

Can you link one of his YT vids on here so these other folks can know this greatness? His channel is "Statstuffer"

I forgot how.

I'd do Animal Kingdom at Disney...and the half day I'd likely head over to Disney Springs for shopping and exploring.

I say Animal Kingdom because it was the most shaded of all the parks, less crowded and had more mild rides as well as fun shops.

Also Orlando has an IKEA and that's a fun spot to shop, my wife loved it and I actually enjoyed it myself.

Actually, without drinking involved, I would agree that animal kingdom might be your best bet.

Disney folks-

If you were going to Orlando with your pregnant wife (2nd trimester) and only had 1 full day to do something amusement park-related, what would you choose?

If you had half a day to do something Not Disney, what would you do? (Museums, parks, aquariums, shopping, exploring, kayaking, etc)

Fishing could be an option if one of you Floridians wants to pick up a fellow moran at the hotel....
Get a park hopper and do to Hollywood Studios, then hit Guardians of the Galaxy at Epcot, then hit Flight of Passage at Animal Kingdom and Mt Everest, then go to Magic kingdom and hit Tron, Space Mtn, and whatever else you can ride before close. I would buy all the lightning lane passes that I could since I’m trying to do it all in one day.
