I feel so vindicated over this Chipper thing. Bunch of whiny ass biatches we have in this fanbase and he wasn’t even talking about Tennessee. Anyone with a brain cell knew he was talking about Florida and Georgia. I didn’t know about the FSU incident or else I would have said he was talking about that too. Stuff like this is why nobody likes our players and our fanbase. Evan Russell should have kept that trap shut. Now he looks like an idiot just like the rest of them. You shut the hell up whenever a legend speaks on the game.

Have you been keeping up with the French Open? If not there's a French player that came through qualifying in Semifinals today playing Coco Gauff. The young Lady has defeated two top 10 players in last two rounds..

Yeah, haven’t been following closely but I did notice that. Always fun to have a native of the host country break through.

I'm not sure how much of Chipper's rant is directed at us, but like Tony V said in regard to the 2022 team, you may not like us, but you're watching, and it got people talking about college baseball. Regardless, you gotta love Evan Russell though.

Just go to the Evan Russell thread and you will see. People immediately bashing Chipper and bringing up irrelevant off the field stuff whenever all he was talking about was how players and coaches should conduct themselves at the ballpark.

Burns was the top college pitching prospect in the 2024 draft class and he’s held serve so far, dominating High A and Double A, with a 42.4 percent strikeout rate at the higher level. Hitters are whiffing on the slider over half the time they swing at it on the year, and the upper-90s fastball is missing enough bats even though it can be a little true. If I’m nitpicking, he has a decent changeup and needs to throw it more; he’s not going to be a big-league starter just as a four-seamer/slider guy, as lefties are slugging .370 off him this year. Get the changeup working, maybe mix in a sinker or cutter just to keep hitters from cheating on the four-seamer, and he’s a No. 2 starter.

On an intentional walk, how do you throw it right down the middle? And why do they call it a ball. The prior 3 pitches were just like this and called balls. TTU took the 2-1 L because of this play.
