This is ridiculous. Baseball, maybe more so than any other sport, has “chatter” going all game. Heck, if you are going to toss Peeble’s, toss their coach (it’s on film for REVIEW).

Anyway, there should be a NCAA review prior to Regions/Supers/Omaha to go over situations like this and the Duke helmet. Let these guys play!! Now, if it is something egregious , I agree but neither of these situations warrant a tournament game forfeiture.

I believe the inconsistent, vague and arbitrary nature of NCAA rules and their application, is intentional. They are designed to allow administrators and officials to reward behavior and personalities they approve of while conversely attempting to manipulate or change behavior and personalities they do not approve of.

They don't want technological answers to imprecise officiating. They don't want clear, concise, and consistently applied rules. They want it just the way it is, so that they can retain power and influence outcomes that align with their belief of how things should be.

They're politicians who do not face the risk of being voted out of office.

Yeah, and the spots that do it right I'm there often enough to be recognized. Oddly enough in our small town the spots that are good quality, priced well and locally owned are Mexican and Chinese spots.

We have 2 good coffee places too. But one of the newer restaurants that opened is more expensive than anywhere else and the food tasted microwaved/frozen at best sadly.
