It was pretty much a joke. Dallas Baptist has a solid program, and we’re good for most of the season. They just grossly under performed in the regional. But, it had to be the easiest regional without question.

I understand. We’ve had these kind of all year, baseball is funny, sometimes cruel, but that’s the deal, something tells me you’ll be back tomorrow.

Vandy, Texas, Georgia, Clemson, and Oregon… all national seeds who have been eliminated. Southern Miss, Oregon St, North Carolina, Tennessee, LSU, and Ole Miss… all national seeds who have to play on Monday. So 10 total national seeds who are currently eliminated or have at least one loss. That’s crazy! What a crazy regional this has been! I can’t remember a more competitive regional off hand. I’ve loved every bit of it, except for the embarrassment that just occurred in Red Stick!

The absolute meltdown that occurred on the Tiger Rant tonight was epic! It’s why I post here, and not there! lol “Stunned” doesn’t even come close to describing the fanbase at the moment. Lots of people needing talked off the ledge for sure! For me, it’s just embarrassing.

I have no idea what CJJ was doing tonight. At the same time, I’ll give all the credit in the world to Little Rock. They came to play. CJJ and boys seem to think they didn’t have to play tonight, and the win was guaranteed. Hope the lesson was learned, and they come ready tomorrow (or today now I guess!). They lose this next game, and CJJ’s seat will be so hot, he won’t sit down until the end of next season, which will need to end in Omaha!

Man, I’ve been so amped up, enjoying this weekend of baseball, I can’t seem to come down! 2:15 in the morning, and I couldn’t shut my eyes for anything at the moment. I guess I’m lucky to be retired, even though I shouldn’t be at my age!

Yep. Vandy, Bama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Texas all gone. The only other SEC team I hate is Arkansas. So as long as we win tonight, it was almost a perfect weekend of regionals for me.

It’s possible that the SEC only gets 2 in the supers. Won’t happen, but that would be bananas.

I just don’t understand what CJJ was thinking tonight. Of course, that bats disappeared after the 1st too, so that didn’t help matters. But pitching… I mean damn. 11 walks? Hard to win like that.

I think he made some very questionable calls last year vs North Carolina also? Dude rode the coattails of Skenes and that squad from 2023. He isn’t that great of a coach. LSU should aim their sights higher.
