The Official Miami (OH) @ Tennessee Knoxville Regional Game Thread (Fri. 5/30 7:06PM EDT ESPNU/ESPN+)

Have any of you seen the resell prices on Ticketmaster for Friday?! 375$ for third row all the way down the third base line.... 675$ a ticket for just past 1st base 3rd row.... 100$ standing room.... Wow
And yet you still have morons online blaming these prices on Danny White

Forecast for a big rain maker system moving out of the gulf for Thursday and Friday soaker in Middle Tennessee. Suppose to clear Knoxville sometime Friday afternoon. Fingers crossed. Saturday forecast beautiful for "play ball".
I was just looking at this for Knoxville. We can play in some rain for sure but It looks to be real wet with thunderstorms here Friday morning until 8ish. Tough to get two games in if that happens.

I’m not saying these are cheap, but less expensive than when you checked, but right now there are standing room tickets for $60 and there are a few real seats for less than $100. Lots of other real seats for less than 150; again, I’m not saying these are cheap.

Let's pack the house and make it extremely nasty for the Miami Redneck ChickenHawks

Wonder if the university gets a kickback from there sales. Also wondering if Ticketmaster paid for the rights to sale the tickets ?
Surely. So the UTAD gets some cash back plus they save the cost of hiring at least two* people to just handle sporting events tickets. Considerable advantages.

Hate it, though. I prefer dealing with people and developing relationships.

* Add to that either another two people, or some proprietary $oftware for enabling them to get by with only two employees.

Probably so on both ends. I don’t know how a normal family can afford to go to games or concerts. I am a huge live music fan and despise buying tickets through any of the third party sites.

You must be looking at a different TM than me. I see lots of great seats around $100 incl fees but before taxes. You always seem to find examples of the outliers. I’m not seeIng anywhere close to what you’re stating for 80% of the tickets listed. General Admission for $60.IMG_3642.pngIMG_3640.png

I'd be interested in what ticket prices are at the other regionals. Interest in college baseball is at an all time high right now.

I’m sure for the most part less than at LNS, but CTV has created a “must see team”. Just look at how many attendance records are set at opposing stadiums when TN plays. EVERYONE wants a piece of TN and to see them in person at home or AWAY. $100 for a Regional seat at LNS is very reasonable compared to past seasons.
