The basic fact though is that Vance is a name of both Scottish and Irish origin. So the most likely answer is that he is of the descent of one or most likely both.

There are other basic facts to consider :

1) Donald Trump never proved that Barack Obama's birth certificate was fraudulent.

2) Donald Trump never proved that Barack Obama wasn't born in Hawaii.

3) Donald Trump never held a press conference to reveal the alleged findings of the investigation team, that he had supposedly hired and dispatched to Hawaii.

4) Nevertheless, Donald Trump continued to speculate on Barack Obama's place of birth for over a year, and for the most part, his supporters did not care that he never provided any proof in support of his claims and insinuations.

Agreed the birther nonsense was terrible. Not sure your view of the evils of Hilary Clinton derived misinformation about her opponents remains consistent if we were to discuss Russiagate

I think you would find that what I had to say about Hillary Clinton and the Steele dossier was consistent with this. It's been a while, so I don't remember everything that I said about it ....but I know I was critical of both Hillary Clinton and the DNC.

Grain donations provide a market for farmers who in turn spend money like other Americans.
Bombing nations around the world is a dead end money expenditure

Your first sentence is simply dumb. We do not benefit as a whole by subsidizing any specific group of Americans. Farmers included.

Military exports are not a dead end. Nor is protecting shipping lanes. Similar to your example, they’re not a net benefit. But the difference here is military funding is an actual important aspect of governance. Feeding other nations is not. That’s a role of charity. A role that you’re more than welcome to fill if you desire.
