All that to say I think Mike Keith will make the calls his own. Maybe we get some advertising ala the Titans for a First Horizon Bank First Down! Another Fooooooooood City Saaaaaaack! Tennessee Ford Dealers Thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiirrrdd Dooooooooooooooooown!

Also, IIRC, before Joe Dean took it and expanded it to “swish-areno”, Ward would just simply say “swish”. He used “Bottom!” a lot more in his last 15-20 years and almost phased out “swish”.

Not even close for me. That's the one I remember best listening to road games on the radio as a student in the Devoe-Ellis years.

I loved John Ward. By the time he got to 1 in that sequence, the ball carrier had already scored and was handing the ref the football. But, it made it so exciting while listening to the game on a radio.
