Tim Burchett is my congressman. I’ve known Tim since I was at UT and he had already graduated. We cross paths from time to time, usually with a quick hello. It’s not like we hang out. While I disagree on some of Tim’s positions, I absolutely agree with a couple of them. I follow him on sm and his short videos where he talks about things wrt floor votes and things he is or isn’t happy with and why he voted the way he did. It’s worth a watch to know what his position is.

The two most important things I agree with him on is the fact we are pushing a $1T defense budget, that he is opposed to, and he cannot get Mike Johnson and other R’s to get his bill to the floor to cease the transfer of $40M per week going to the Taliban. It’s unconscionable on both sides. What are these people doing up there? Should be a no brainer. I hope the Senate has something to say about it when they take up this bbb.

Had Hillary been elected, maybe she would have changed tax codes, however...

Have no idea what MSN talking points are,.I've never seen any of that programming. My thought are my own.

Thanks to snap and other cuts soon more poor kids of any color will wake up hungry and go to bed hungry. But no where in America will parents watch as thier children die of hunger.That is happening now in Sudan. But tax breaks for the ruling class resulted in canceling USAID.

DOGE has not saved America one cent, and I would argue has cost us money.

I'm a Tim Burchett fan, don't always agree with him but I believe he has America's best interests in his heart.

Federal judges are considering hiring armed private security forces amid fears that US Marshals will not protect them because they work for Donald Trump.

You probably don't remember this, but I have been critical of it, and I am to this day as well. Inflation did drop, but Biden's Inflation Reduction Act was obviously not responsible for it. It was the worst thing that Biden signed into law. I have said that before.

There are a lot of times, when Trump/MAGA posters assume that I'm just like them, and I'm therefore, incapable of being critical of Joe Biden. It's projection. I have been critical of Joe Biden a lot.
