Fact remains Texas proved it over an entire regular season. We don’t get to beat the drum year and then try to put down other programs all because they lose 1 meaningless SECT game whenever it’s not even double elimination anymore. Their seeding is already set and they literally had nothing to play for. Even with these last two wins, we are still 9-13 since that “no-hitter” vs A&M, lost 5 straight SEC series, and 6 out of 7, to end the season. Baseball is about winning SERIES and this team has yet to prove they can do that the second half of the schedule.

If the teams switched places in your statement above, would you be saying the same thing about Tennessee? Specifically the part about we are set in the tournament, loosing a meaningless SECT game, yada yada.

I believe that's the way it comes out Monday. I don't think we get a top 8 National Seed by winning the SEC tournament.

How many SEC regular season titles have they won already in Year 1? I’m having a hard time keeping count because they’ve won in so many sports this year. Football, women’s basketball, baseball, men’s tennis, men’s and women’s swimming and diving. Oh and almost forgot rowing. We don’t get to claim “Everything School” and then allow them to come in Year 1 and straight dominate the league.

The talking heads at the SECT last night after the game said if Tennessee were to win the SECT they would have 18 SEC wins.
They went on to say that in no scenario do they see an SEC team with 18 SEC wins not hosting a Super.

I really don’t give a damn what other people say. I’m just pointing out that Texas has come in a run the best conference in America in Year 1 and people want to act like that’s not impressive. If we were doing this again this year we would be beating our drum about #EverythingSchool. Can’t be a double standard for whenever someone else does it.

I don't get it. We already have 18 wins ! 16-14 regular season + 2 tournament wins 18-14 already. That's definitely a regional host . Now if we win the championship we're getting a super regional at home. GBO

When we won the SEC regular season way back in … checks notes … last year, we won the SEC tournament, too. Your ut jr heifers couldn’t match that mark.
