No, most everyone knew and understood the situation, the condition of Arvidson's arm and pitch count, and the fact that the heart of the lineup was getting another look at him. The hanging breaking ball in the previous inning followed by a bunch of balls spiked in the dirt was enough to know his day was done. It isn't like we don't have options in the pen.
