tl;dr and WTAFT
got a text from my daughter at 4 am....don't have her in "Favorites" unless she and the grandkids are out of town, which means I don't hear any alerts (just changed all that)
anyway, she texted me at 4 about a bear that had her trapped in the garage...sat down in the middle of the driveway as if it were daring her to pull her car out
we're in the city limits and I have the means to put the bear down, but cannot discharge a rifle in the city limits
wish I could have helped her by going out another door at least banging some pots and pans together...she said eventually it just left and she went on to work (at FedEx)
her boss is such a deek....he told her she was making up the story
we've had a lot of storm and wind, and I thought weather was what had been knocking over our trash cans the past few weeks....nope
person two streets over posted a video of four bears coming out of the woods, walking past his cars, and flipping over his trash cans (the big ones with wheels)
thought about turning on outside lights and leaving them on, but Hail Fahr dey's city streetlights dun got errthang lit up

Edit: and the crazy part was when I got to school this mornin, errbody was talkin about yesterday mornin when a custodian saw a bear in the school's dumpster about 5 or 530 when they came to work.....school dumpster is in the student parking lot
