There's two parts to the border/illegal immigration. The actual border where he has always been strong and deporting those who had previously snuck through where its been more hit or miss. In Term 1, he started off strong on this second part before caving in to business interests. Does he stay strong throughout Term 2 or does he cave to those interesrs again?

Interior removals were significantly lower than W and Obama....

Obama's last couple of years left Trump with some low hanging fruit to deport. The numbers didnt match the rhetoric...

Heck, some of the policies that led to immigration increases under Biden were Trump backed initiatives, such as ATD which swelled tremendously in funding during Trump 1.0. (Biden increased funding for it even more)

Trucking industry publication Freight Waves reported details of the horrific March 13 incident, in which 37-year-old Solomun Weldekeal-Araya was initially charged with five counts of intoxication manslaughter and two counts of intoxication assault after the 18-wheeler he was driving on Interstate 35 crashed into 16 other vehicles.

Five victims were pronounced dead at the scene, including a couple and their two children, and 11 others suffered injuries.

Now, a foreign national Felipe Gomes, who was hired by the Belmont Police Department after the law went into effect in 2023, was arrested last week on suspicion of rape, The Blaze reported. The Brazilian national was reportedly hired despite a previous arrest in 2017 for domestic violence.

Redwood City Police arrested Gomes at the Belmont Police Department headquarters on April 22, RCPD Sgt. Victor Figueroa said. Gomes is accused of violating penal code 261 (a)(1), which is “knowingly having sexual intercourse with an individual incapable of giving consent because of a mental disorder or developmental or physical disability,” according to the report.

The illegal alien accused of brutally killing a grandmother in Cobb County, Georgia, has pleaded not guilty in the case.

The suspect, who is originally from Honduras and was previously released due to former President Joe Biden’s (D) disastrous border policies, is 21-year-old David Hector Sagastume-Rivas. He entered his plea of not guilty on Monday, according to Fox 5.

Police zoned in on Sagastume-Rivas in early March after the body of Camillia Williams, 52, was discovered in the bushes of a yard on Pat Mell Road. The suspect was later charged with her killing.

“According to an arrest warrant obtained by FOX 5, Rivas physically assaulted Williams, placing her in a chokehold and causing her to lose consciousness. Once she was unconscious, the man allegedly told police he put both knees and his full body weight on her neck, leading to her death,” the outlet said.

Sagastume-Rivas was charged with malice murder, aggravated assault, rape, aggravated sexual battery, and necrophilia in the case.
