It is great news if they can get it up to specs in a reasonable time. Boeing has shown that they apparently don't GAS enough to provide the contracted airplane for the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED ****ING STATES, either on time or within budget. So **** Boeing. We should cancel their contract and demand a refund.

Boeing is such a dumpster fire it really wouldn't bother me too much if we bought an Airbus for POTUS.

And while the airplane was presented to Trump, it is a gift to the USA. You are being intellectually dishonest to state otherwise. If your Marxists can ever get elected they will be flying on it.

The many girls who compete against those less than 50 are at a very unfair physical disadvantage. Boys who want to be girls are still boys and should compete against other boys.

Has Trump made you "rich" again? You said volatility was "awesome" just a couple of days ago. Did he make you rich enough that you can pay off that big mortgage you talked about a month ago? Incorrect. They are gifting the UNITED STATES a jet. Trump doesn’t take it with him when he leaves office. It remains the property of the United States. President Vance gets use of it for 8 years after that.

Really? Did Congress vote on that today? It was stated it would become the property of the library, which is a joke in itself considering the highly likely possibility he's never read an entire book.

Regardless, the US doesn't take gifts of that nature. Especially for a self serving POTUS. That doesn't matter either. We, as a country, are miles above receiving such a gift. Trump's explanation for accepting it was that we don't have a Presidential jet that currently stacks up to the OPEC kingdom. Our current one is fine. Why in the holy F does that matter?

Sigh, the current Air Force One is over 30 years old. LOOOONG before this gift offer was even considered, the US government decided to replace it and ordered two jets from Boeing. Boeing got the contract in July of 2018. It is now 2025 and the jets are no where near delivery. If fact, it may be 2029 before they are delivered. It is beyond ridiculous that the supposed leading US aircraft manufacturer needs ELEVEN years to produce two jets.
So if you’ve got a problem with the US accepting a gift, maybe call Boeing and tell them to get off their behinds and complete the contract.

Still far too early for me to pass judgment of how this Presidency is going, but the border crossing numbers, inflation report, prices of goods, move to reduce prescription medication costs, and the recent trends in the stock and crypto market are all very positive. Hope the momentum continues. I would really like to see more progress towards peace in the two major wars.
