Department of Government Efficiency - DOGE

In case you aren't aware, Musk was involved with the creation of Chat GPT.

Grok is his new xAI project, and it's significantly better than GPT. Give it a try.

IDK if that's such a great story for Musk. He pledged $1B and only gave about $45m to the project. He tried to take over the project and welched on his commitment when they didn't accept his offer.

Then he went to start his own competitor and tried to appeal to our government leaders for market interference with AI so that his company could play catch up.

OpenAI was supposed to be a non-profit and it became a for-profit enterprise after he pulled his funding, and that was a big part of the decision.

So weird to pretend you truly know someone else’s intent.

Your hatred/obsession here is concerning to say the least.

After their falling out, you expected him to continue sending them money?

They increased spending at the first opportunity

Depending on what numbers you use I’m seeing Trump’s proposed budget deficit of around 1.76T vs Biden’s 2024 deficit of 1.8 (likely higher for Biden’s 2025 deficit).

Either way, even if Trump’s 2026 deficit were 0, we’d likely have to raise the debt ceiling to make it to that point

Which part of the full video do you think added additional context that wasn't apparent in the shorter clip?
I liked the part where he said not getting as much and using it for a little while to try and save money.

People complain about making cuts to try and lower the deficit and go after Elon and try and ruin his business and then they complain when you try to get money to pay the bills. The FAA needs billions to update their towers and soldiers need payed and taken care of. We just need to have accountability on how they spend the money.

Taking turns --- This time a SF District Judge is the leader of the Executive Branch ...

From the article:

U.S. District Judge Susan Illston ruled the plaintiffs — a group of federal employee unions — are likely to show that the Trump administration's attempts to reorganize and downsize the federal government exceed its legal authority. Illston wrote that President Trump "likely must request Congressional cooperation to order the changes he seeks."

It applies to DOGE and 20 federal agencies, including the Office of Management and Budget, the Social Security Administration and the departments of State, Treasury, Commerce, Veterans Affairs and more.
