When did Jordan start winning with the Bulls? I save the search. It was after the rules for fouls were changed and things like traveling and palming the ball were tolerated. The fans wanted dunks and the NBA was going to give them dunks. Your probably too young to remember when dunking didn't happen in fact it was illegal for about 30 years. Thanks to Dr J and Darryl Dawkins it became an artform.MJ was an MVP candidate his rookie season. Try again.
And yes, I would expect someone who they were the GOAT not to say someone else in the GOAT.
MJ knows he is the GOAT. Gretzky knows he is the GOAT. They may not publicly say that, but they also don't claim anyone else was better than them.
And again literally everyone that played against MJ calls him the GOAT. There are players who played in multiple eras and played against MJ, Kobe, and LeBron, like Kevin Garnett. They say MJ was the best. That's good enough for me.
People didn't say "hello" as a greeting before the phone. . . and we could be saying "ahoy" instead of hello if Bell had his way.
"Hello" was a hot new slang at one point, no cap.
Are you under the impression MJ scored most of his points in the paint or something? What an ignorant statement to make. When did Jordan start winning with the Bulls? I save the search. MJ was decent at dunking only problem was that ornery men at the low post frowned on it and would rip an arm of if you tried it. Ala open the lane to dunks by changing fouls. The birth of Air Jordan.
Yep.... you can't be a record setting wide receiver without someone throwing you the ball.Give some of that credit to Joe Montana.
Let's stop pretending that Isiah, Lambeer, & Dumars were the Washington Generals. Are you under the impression MJ scored most of his points in the paint or something? What an ignorant statement to make.
MJ won his first MVP BEFORE the rules change? But somehow a rules change made all the difference. GTFOH.
The Bulls with MJ made the Eastern Conference finals for 2 straight seasons before his first title. The only thing that held Jordan back was a HOF Detroit Pistons unit that was one of the best of all time.
I'll clarify that my "from the jump" statement was referring to OSU in the playoffs once we were offered up as a sacrifice.I really don't think you can say Blohio was a no-brainer all season. There were plenty of doubts going in to the playoff. I think there were doubts when they lost to Michigan.
I contend that the expanded playoff make more meaningful regular season games. It will definitely water down the playoffs though, there could be some rough first and second round games.
I am not saying MJ was not a great player, he is among the greats. It can not be denied that he played in a era that favored his game. If you can't admit that the NBA tipped the scales to Jordan then your blind or maybe you can't accept it because it doesn't fit your narrative. Are you under the impression MJ scored most of his points in the paint or something? And as far as scoring in the paint, his famous logo is not of him taking a jump shot.
