We were a couple plays away from being 9-3 in 2021. 60 some players, Butch/Pruitt orphans, sanctions, horrific defense, but we had a QB that could hit the wide open ones. Shoulda blown Pitt out and got jobbed out of besting Ole Peepee.

We will have a good defense again. Bring back the majority of the defense, still have the best d-line coach in the country.

We've never not run the ball well under Heupel and he always gets guys wide open.

Aguilar has no history of missing wide open ones.

We are going to be tough to beat.

We wouldn't have faced OSU in the 1st round if nico could hit wide open throws. We would've won 1-2 games in the playoffs if he could.

If Aguilar can hit the wide-open throws and we have a RB step up, we could be back in the playoff picture. Also need our WRs to be as good as they should be. . .

I don’t wanna get rid of umps. I like the human element and adding a little variability to the game. But it can’t be *that* bad. That’s comical. The ump for G1 of Vols series wasn’t much better.
I don’t want full time robot umps. But I’m in favor of the balls and strikes challenge system they’ve been tinkering with in the Minors.

We at least blow out FL and AL if he hits the wide open ones. If our offense had a pulse against Ark we win easily. Nico was pretty good against UGA. We would have needed a Cam Ward level guy to take that one.

I just think, what are the odds that old WRU has a 3rd straight season with banged up, butter fingers WR's? What are the odds that we have a 3rd straight QB miss like 10 wide open touchdowns? Not to mention that in four years, that QB has never had accuracy issues and now will have better coaching and more talent around him than he's ever had before.

Will still be holding my breath on the first deep ball against Syracuse! If Joey starts air mailing them then we are officially cursed, because it's insane at this point.

That means so much coming for you. Thank you. (That face tells it all. 🤣)

I'm not the hero you need....just the hero you get.

Don't encourage him. He's still pissed that I killed his grass. Now he can't yell "Stay off my grass!" at all the little kids.

Happy Monday

May 5, 2025: Do not beat yourself half to death because of mistakes you made. Everything is forgivable if you take steps to make the necessary corrections. You can do your best, but remember the old adage: to err is human, to forgive is divine, which emphasizes that making mistakes is a natural part of human experience, while the ability to forgive is a higher, divine quality. Being kind to others is a virtue, but so also is being kind to yourself. Ephesians 4:32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

@VolsDoc81TX I just got my right hip replaced a couple weeks ago and at my two week appt, they told me I wasn't cleared to drive for another 4 weeks. Is that pretty standard with the right hip? What about the left, as I will be getting that one done in a few months. Thanks for the info.
The driving limitation should be strictly for the right side. Need to be able to quickly apply the brakes.

No reason to limit driving for the left leg after surgery. Unless you have a clutch to contend with.

I was hatched in UC, but we lived in South Fulton until I was about 6. Then my mom got a job teaching in Nashville and we up and moved to the big city.
Whoa dude. I lived in south Fulton (born in Martin though) till I was 8 and moved to nashville too. I drive back to see family Every other year and thank the man upstairs we moved. Cool story bro I know.
