Didn’t say that now did I? I have no issue with methodically renegotiating deals. However that isn’t what he did. He stupidly imposed worldwide oppressive tariffs with the basis of those tariffs being a trade imbalance but he claimed the tariffs were reciprocal. They were no such thing. He gas lighted all of you to your face on the tariff basis and you swallowed it whole.

Ah the ends justifies the means argument. First thing you need to do is what until you have meaningful ends to chest thump over. However I’m quite certain if we get a handful of beads for giving away Manhattan again it will be trotted out as the most bodacious trade deal ever and I’ll read support for that in this forum. Right now I’m firmly in the juice isn’t worth the squeeze camp.

Of course he is renegotiating, and the reasons for it are the past administration F-Up with little to no enforcement of the agreement and the Mexicans allowing a migrant parade through their country on the way to ours. Notice was given as all parties can provide in the agreement for a renegotiation.

I'm not the idiot who is applauding the pending collapse of the United Nations .... nor am I an idiot carrying water for Trump's atrocious efforts of "diplomacy," including his disastrous tariffs.

This presidency is going to be a catastrophe which the United States may never recover from.

For starters not suicide the entire international trade market all at once. And I’ve already said what I’d do. Go after China hard and then hold them up as an example behind closed doors on what we are willing to do. But I don’t play 5d checkers and can consider not playing out international trade policy in an open public social media venue like a reality tv show.

However it isn’t my problem to solve now is it? That doesn’t mean I can’t have an opinion on something being fundamentally stupid and this world wide trade war is fundamentally stupid

Better deals? The only thing Trump is accomplishing on the international stage so far is the spread of liberalism. He’s literally losing elections for foreign candidates just because he’s affiliated with conservatism.

😆…..how did Biden do? We will never recover from the undocumented immigrants in this country. While many of our citizens have felt the rath, I am concerned the worst is yet to come. Throw in Afghanistan/COVID how he handled China and you have THE WORST president ever.

Productive things Trump has done in the last 24 hours for our country :

1) Posted an AI-Generated picture of himself as the Pope on X.
2) Scheduled an Army parade in honor of his birthday in June.
3) Had a meeting with Nick Saban to discuss an NIL executive order for college athletics (because Trump is the only one who can fix this, ya know).
