Did you think it was going to be easy to force countries to negotiate better deals for America. What’s going to happen when these better deals are completed?Let’s see. The widening trade deficit in the first quarter. The negative GDP in the first quarter after all predictions and market indicators showed growth expectations. That’s just 20 seconds of thinking off the top of my head without actually looking.
Didn’t say that now did I? I have no issue with methodically renegotiating deals. However that isn’t what he did. He stupidly imposed worldwide oppressive tariffs with the basis of those tariffs being a trade imbalance but he claimed the tariffs were reciprocal. They were no such thing. He gas lighted all of you to your face on the tariff basis and you swallowed it whole. My gosh…..you all cannot be satisfied.
So you leave all of the other bad deals in place? They are /have come to the table as well. This is guy is a businessman. He knows what he is doing.
Ah the ends justifies the means argument. First thing you need to do is what until you have meaningful ends to chest thump over. However I’m quite certain if we get a handful of beads for giving away Manhattan again it will be trotted out as the most bodacious trade deal ever and I’ll read support for that in this forum. Right now I’m firmly in the juice isn’t worth the squeeze camp.Did you think it was going to be easy to force countries to negotiate better deals for America. Of course he is renegotiating, and the reasons for it are the past administration F-Up with little to no enforcement of the agreement and the Mexicans allowing a migrant parade through their country on the way to ours. Notice was given as all parties can provide in the agreement for a renegotiation. So you just admitted he’s demanding renegotiation? He “gave notice” that he is demanding renegotiation of his own damn trade agreements? Didn’t you just post facts can be confusing for non liberals also?
LMAO if he’s renegotiating USMCA because it’s a bad deal he owns that. Not Biden. And no amount of deflection to an unrelated topic is gonna change that. Pick a lane.Of course he is renegotiating, and the reasons for it are the past administration F-Up with little to no enforcement of the agreement and the Mexicans allowing a migrant parade through their country on the way to ours. What would you do to try and get better trade deals? I am not concerned with Trumps baravado.Ah the ends justifies the means argument. I'm not the idiot who is applauding the pending collapse of the United Nations .... nor am I an idiot carrying water for Trump's atrocious efforts of "diplomacy," including his disastrous tariffs. You are stupid
We could do this all day with your ideological views, but your opinion is worthless to me.I'm not the idiot who is applauding the pending collapse of the United Nations .... nor am I an idiot carrying water for Trump's atrocious efforts of "diplomacy," including his disastrous tariffs.
This presidency is going to be a catastrophe which the United States may never recover from.
For starters not suicide the entire international trade market all at once. And I’ve already said what I’d do. Go after China hard and then hold them up as an example behind closed doors on what we are willing to do. But I don’t play 5d checkers and can consider not playing out international trade policy in an open public social media venue like a reality tv show. What would you do to try and get better trade deals? I am not concerned with Trumps baravado.

Better deals? The only thing Trump is accomplishing on the international stage so far is the spread of liberalism. He’s literally losing elections for foreign candidates just because he’s affiliated with conservatism.Did you think it was going to be easy to force countries to negotiate better deals for America. That's better than going to the beach for relaxation & letting your country be screwed.Productive things Trump has done in the last 24 hours for our country :
1) Posted an AI-Generated picture of himself as the Pope on X.
2) Scheduled an Army parade in honor of his birthday in June.
3) Had a meeting with Nick Saban to discuss an NIL executive order for college athletics (because Trump is the only one who can fix this, ya know).
