I have to think CJJ did not use Evans and Cowan so he could get 6-7 innings out of them tomorrow. That will give LSU a chance. But in what was a 2 run game (then a 1 run game), I don’t know why he wouldn’t use one of them tonight. And then it just got blown up! It’s like he’s just conceded the game, which is crazy to me. But yeah, I’m hoping for a good one tomorrow!

I don’t think he was conceding in the moment and you know way more about how y’all’s pen sets up. Honestly, I think we’re more alike than different. I watch us all year, and I never go into Sunday thinking, no problem, we got this. Won’t surprise me tomorrow.

Assuming this holds up without too much more drama. Another sloppy game defensively (cant take too many more bad news bears pop fly foul balls), but a strong win without the longball working for us. Sure we had the one dong that stretched the game out of reach but we built the lead playing small ball while LSU hung around by hitting solo homers. Bullpen needs to mature. Phillips needs more games like this one and we need to clean up the infield and base running, but theres so much potential here.

Go knock on wood or take another shot for whatever jinxes i just caused but thats where my head is.
