EVs have a wild history too. I saw some pictures of them from the early 1900s on the internet, so I'm taking it as fact. They were around for a long time, but the oil industry made gas engines #1. EVs probably didn't perform nearly as well back then either. The dirty little secret about EVs is that with a tiny fraction of the moving parts, they can be much cheaper than ICE vehicles, and in time they will be. Of course major brands want to ride the early adopters to mega profit, so they would prefer you not know the truth.
Outstanding news, glad to hear it.Got wonderful news today. The pathology report came back on my Dad's lung mass -- it was a stage 0 adenocarcinoma in situ that had not spread at all. They are confident they got it all and that he will be fine. He'll need yearly CT scans but nothing else; no chemo or radiation. Thanks to all for the thoughts and prayers!
I have a cool Emmit Smith story. Back in the 80's I played in the pro-am at The Pensacola Open. We were at a party at one of the PGA Pro's house and someone asked us if we would like to meet Emmit's daddy. We said sure and we were introduced to a wealthy white dudeWatching those Emmitt Smith highlights brings back great memories...
