Well, I must have had too many beers because everyone I know ripped on me when I pointed out the problems with Afghanistan and Iraqi.... and I don't remember all these mass protests.

Must have, codepink formed and led protests at the nations capitol. The nation was divided along party lines. Many mass protests. The Dixie Chicks scandal and counter protests.

You can't possibly have missed all that.

The Dixie Chicks whined and got shat on by everyone, no there was no large backlash... matter of fact, Georgie got re-elected on it. Afghanistan was funded for 20 years, how is that even possible if what you say is true. Everyone was against it, yet everyone funded it?

Half the country was against the war, support for and against largely fell on party lines. Dixie Chicks got a lot of support from the left. They just ruined their careers because they alienated their core fan base.

being elected again in no way negates the fact there was mass protest and a lot of opposition to the Iraq war in particular. You seriously don't remember "no war for oil"?

By 2003, your country was already at war in Afghanistan for a 1+, the U.S. went on to fund all that and still does... half the country not only wasn't against... they basically all for it... which is why its still going on. There are no large protests going on even today and they have told you to leave and you're still funding it.

The Dixie Chicks said something, and that was the end of the protests.

When everything started going south... than all of sudden there a few more brave souls.

Yes the Dixie chick's were stopping funding for all this 25 years ago with their protests. Yes, all the masses of politicians were against this and the Congressional Record has been altered for 25 years. We're not in Iraq right now because everyone's against this....it's all a delusional dream I'm having.

George got reelected on Afghanistan, not Iraq. There were big protests all over the country and the world over Iraq, before the invasion.
