Only held on for four seasons after their last super bowl win. Not that crazy.

They signed him to a 6 year extension in 1999, the year before he retired. It would have gone to his 41st birthday. It was signed to help with salary cap issues, but they had to waive him in the spring of 2001. With his waiver ($10 million in dead money) along with a couple of others, it cost them $23 million in dead money on the next year's cap. It made it difficult to field a competitive roster. They went 5-11.

In Murfreesboro, it would be a minimum of $75 per week with a contract. They show up in August to mow irregardless of if it has rained in the last 2 weeks or not. Mrs. Glitch actually doesn't mind and enjoys making the yard look good, even if not quite so much as me. She does an amazing job.

I defended the WR's most of last season because there were guys open in many games. The Arkansas, Florida, and Bama games had WR's open....and some by 3+ yards. Goes both ways. Someone who takes responsibility would say, "I have to be better, too." Instead of demanding better players.
