Considering he's the only wing left and his rebounding will be needed....

He should be getting 30 mpg

The fact that a guy that couldnt crack 11 man regular season rotation is the only option remaining says enough about the King...

Hes replacement level (at best) just like the others (GG, Vince, Kwnnard, Smart, earlier this yr). You could make arguments either way if he should have been included in rotation.

You need the rebounding he gives but you cant play 4 on 5 offensively against a defensively strong team like OKC.

It started with Winslow. OKC had cap space and took bad salaries and leveraged those draft picks into their core rotation. We got Justise. Justise was more injury prone than Chandler Parsons.

Then it was Ziaire. Team needed a big wing that could shoot. Trey Murphy was a big wing that could shoot. Team could have used cap space like OKC but instead took on 68 million in bad contracts to move up to take a guy who would have been there at 17 or even 27...

Then it was the 2 for 1 plan. Trade Melton for Roddy and use those proceeds to extend Jitty. Roddy would have been there at pick 50 in the 2nd round. 1 rotation piece for a non rotation piece and the captain of the YMCA team sponsored by Golden Corral.

Team needed a big. Kessler was there. Team took offensively deficient white guy who couldnt shoot in LaRavia right after they extended another one. At least Jitty can rebound and defend....

Marcus Smart was broken down so of course you trade for him and give up Tyus and a couple of firsts. Plus another first to get rid of his deal.

But the biggest issue of all is Ja. 3 years ago, he was a better player than SGA. SGA worked on his craft. Ja still cant shoot, is a wannabe gangster, and doesnt care about winning basketball....

Let's compare this to the Grizzlies

Instead of going after Winslow, OKC developed Dort and traded cap space for pics that turned into Casen Wallace, Jaylin Williams and A. Wiggins

Instead of drafting a bum like Ziaire, drafted Jalen Williams

Team needed a big. They signed Hartenstein.

Team needed a versatile wing. Instead of trading for broken down Smart, they got Caruso.

SGA worked on his game. Ja worked on his trigger finger.

I love Jrue Holiday ! He's a big reason the Bucks gotta ring, he's a big reason the Celtics gotta ring, he's a big reason the USA gotta a gold, a few years ago. Just a winner.
