This is what I hate about college sports now. ZZ wearing any jersey other than Tennessee orange would be hard to swallow. It just would be. He’s the type of guy that should only belong to one school’s history books. I know people like Trippie want ZZ to move on, but it would kind of change my opinion of ZZ’s legacy a bit if he finished his career wearing another jersey. It just would. Fair or foul, it’s how I feel.

It would be so wild if we suddenly had a top-10 freshman class out of almost nowhere (I'm delusional already, putting Adams to us when he reopened his recruitment about 10 minutes ago). Adams and Ament would be a ridiculous freshman duo, and I am all for pursuing him aggressively though I hope we get involved again.

That’s not the issue. Tennessee needs both at the moment. Losing freeman makes it harder to fill out the roster with talent that can make an impact

Exactly. Landing Ament doesn’t mean we filled the Freeman spot, so i’m curious who we would go after if he commits to Auburn

Just got word that while Freeman isn’t an ignoramoose, his peg game score was “just plain dumb“. This might explain why Tennessee is reluctant to pony up another 400K.

According to reports, if accurate, TN will spend around $11mil on this team, so what is another $400k? Seems like small change in the realm of things.
