I don't think Nico is toxic, but his dad and the rest of his team certainly is. They would be smart to come out and say "we made a poor decision and learned a hard lesson" or something like that. It would be the best PR move they could make.
The only comment he has made was arguably instigating the situation. When you are surrounded by toxicity, you might be a little toxic too.

When is the last time you were stung by a bee?

. . . I was getting buzzed by some carpenter bees or bumble bees yesterday. I'd just kinda swat my hand at them and they'd move. Then one buzzed my head and I swatted at it. I hit this one and it went down to the ground at my feet, under the table. I looked at it and noticed it wasn't a bumble bee, it was a yellow jacket.

No sooner than I glanced at it, it got up and made a bee line at my forehead. Never seen a bee move so fast. No doubt it was pissed, cause it hit me nearly between the eyes and stung on impact. It was stuck to my forehead. I had to swipe at it 3 or 4 times to get it loose. It hurt pretty good and swelled up a little. Good thing I had an emergency can of Copenhagen. This morning my head has a dime size bruise that feels like I was hit with a ball-peen hammer.

last year was the first time I've ever been stung by anything more than a sweatbee................

I was marking the golf course and came up on a yellowjacket nest..........one got me on the wrist.

hope there isn't a second time..........

F yellow jackets. Those things deserve their own level of Hell.

Speaking of weird stuff to watch. My kids and I watched this cartoon movie - Flow. It has no words and has an anime vibe, but one of the more interesting movies I have watched in a long time. My daughter and my son's gf loved it.

Is it worth the watch? It won the Oscar for best animated film. Not that I usually put much stock in Oscar winners, but this one actually did look pretty cool.

I doubt there’s science to back this up, but I would swear yellow jacket venom has gotten more potent over the years. The last several times I’ve gotten into a nest of them, the stings seemed way worse and lasted much longer.

Maybe it’s just because I’m getting on in years.

Aa my doc explained regarding my poison ivy reactions doing silimar at one point:

Your body knows the enemy now. Every time it sees this enemy it ratchets up the attack. It sends more soldiers and they cause more swelling and more discomfort all in the name of killing the enemy. Eventually your body gets so good at attacking the enemy it is really attacking you and can cause anaphylaxis.

In my case he warned me to get better at spotting poison ivy and how to get it off (rubbing alcohol and rag) before it gets into the skin.

Sadly that doesn't work with a ground hiding yellow jacket. I know some good pesticides though 😆.

Maybe. I thought it was because I got stung on the head, but it hurt a lot more than I remember. I don't remember a sting hurting the next day either, at least not this much.

I would think enabling the toxicity to pervade, whereby you are part of it, is the issue. Having clairvoyance to recognize, ask right questions, and make the right life changes is what adults do. NOT A VICTIM. Live and learn, be better. That's the healthy way.

Always marvel how people even start this sport.

Had a girlfriend tell me once. 'Hey, I want you to come to my diving meet.'

Wait, you dive? And, that's a sport?

Apparently she's started that week. And it was available at that school.

Sometimes certain sports are available, bc a parent was good at it themselves. So they coach it. Or they go to private school.
