Yeah I noticed that as well. Not saying at all that all of our offensive troubles were all on him. But there were plenty of opportunities during games that he just didn’t see guys open.

Every time Landers opens his mouth, I feel happy that crew is gone. I doubt that's the effect he is aiming for.

And look at sad-sack Kiffin trying to get involved. Pathetic. Always full of regret and busy at engagement farming.

Is it possible that we don't know the truth to this situation?

Maybe Merk or GMac out played Nico in the spring. You can't keep a guy that's making 2.5 million around if he is getting beat out in spring by qbs that are making less than him.

Any non portal recruiting news? Seems like there's zero positive recruiting news around the football team in spite of having a lot of quality prospects on campus this winter.

I’m in the camp that the quality of coaching, recruiting stars and past performance of portal players is irrelevant to predicting team performance in this era.

All that matters is how happy is your team with their NIL deals.

Going to be fascinating to see how that plays out this season. I wonder if there is a way they can poll and publish results of team contentment with NIL ahead of games. It should move the betting markets for individual games.

I am not sure how this will play out and if Heup brings him in, I will definitely trust him. Having said that, hanging your hat on one drive that led to a field goal seems like we would need a bit more data to confirm.
